Description: La Inmaculada Concepcion - This image of the Virgin under the title of Immaculate Conception is yet another example of Filipino ingenuity towards santo making. Marian devotion is tremendous in the Philippines. An image such as this is venerated throughout the islands. Traditionally she wears a crown, and her dress has a fine mantle. Although the right hand is missing, the craftsmanship is very detailed and the contours well proportioned. It is made from a Philippine native wood called batikuling. Some minor cracks and abrasion are visible due to age. It is believed to be more than ninety years old and probably come from Northern Philippines.
Measurement: It measures 13.5 inches in height and 5.5 inches across.

Weight: Item weighs approximately 900 grams
