Description: A well known saint in the Philippines, specifically during the old colonial days, this iconic figure is also the patron saint of dogs. Traditionally he has a wound on his left knee, and the symbolic dog near him, which miraculously healed him by licking his wound. The patina of the images is quite old. There are minor abrasions and cracks due to age. Made from batikulling, an indigenous wood from the Philippines, the artistry combined with local touch, make this item a standout. It is believed to be more than ninety years old and probably come from Central Luzon.
Measurement: It measures 10.5 inches in height and 7.5 inches across.
Condition: In Good Condition
