Description: Archangel Raphael - Raphael is usually depicted holding a jub of oil for anointing, or a fish which represents the oil of healing of its aliments through the sacrament of confession. This unique image is made of Philippine batikuling, which is indigenous to the country. As one of the seven archangels, its wing is made of tin, his symbol, a fish dangles from the right sand which likewise holds a sphere. The right hand holds a palm of peace. Some tints were used as highlights. The image has some minor cracks, abrasions and discoloration as well due to age. It is believed to be more than a hundred years old and probably come from Northern Philippines.
Measurement: It measures 14.5 inches in height and 6 inches across.
Condition: In Good Condition
Weight: Item weighs approximately 1,100 grams
