Synopsis | : |
In this second Blanco book, while Jose Blanco, father of the Angono family of artists, is still the major personality, the seven Blanco children assume an increasingly important artistic presence with more paintings than in the first book. Featured here are the family's paintings of folk festivals all over the country, as well their travel paintings in other parts of the world. Full of color and movement, the paintings were done in the sites of ritual and celebration and thus capture the spirit of the various places and that of the people participating in the many renewals of the national identity. |
